Technology for paying by mobile phone is ready
Mastercard is set to be the first to enable the mobile phone wallet, with a new service that will enable you to pay for goods simply by waving your mobile phone near a shop’s card reader. According to a report in IT Pro the technology is ready and the banks are nearing an agreement with the mobile telecoms companies. Expect to see it within the next 12 months.
